I qualified as a Japanese speaking Blue Badge Tourist Guide after a long hard period of studying numerous subjects including history, geology, the monarchy, and even the gestation period of pigs!
The Blue Badge Tourist Guide is the highest standard of qualification within the guiding profession and is recognised as such both nationally and internationally. The qualification will provide you with knowledge, understanding and a range of skills essential for success as a tourist guide within a specified area. We are trained to undertake a variety of guiding roles, including sightseeing coach tours, walking tours in town/city, visits to cathedrals/churches, stately homes and museums.
